Patchy pillow project

This is my patchy pillow project.  The first step is to decide which fabrics to use, the size of the patches and as well the placement.  This step can sometimes take longer then the actual sewing. It all depends on my artistic mood that day.  This project day was one of indecision.

The piping was also made into patches and then cut on the bias.  The only difficulty with this is the various weights of fabric.  However, persistance is the key here.  Not to worry, the finished product will turn out fine.
Yes, you get to see my sewing room, not as organized as I would like, but it's getting there.
The finished pillows.  I decided to put a finished cording on two of the pillows.
